Senior Facility Designer, Tom Rieger from Maintenance Design Group, along with various city council members, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new City of St. Charles Public Works Facility in St. Charles, Missouri. The new 72,000-square-foot facility consolidates all of the City’s departments into one building allowing for greater efficiency and increased productivity. The facility houses various Public Works offices along with repair bays, a fabrication shop, parts storage, and other shops and support areas. The new facility is designed for future expansions and flexibility and includes parking for 150 trucks and automobiles with a covered and an enclosed heated vehicle storage building for specialty vehicles and equipment.
Tom Rieger and the Central Region Manager, Mark Ellis from MDG, were a part of the design team for this project, led by H Design. MDG provided equipment industrial design, conceptual design, master planning, and space planning.
