US Army Reserve BRAC Design/Build Value Engineering Study, Arlington, Virginia: Selected to provide a vehicle maintenance specialist on a value engineering team reviewing the design/build request for proposals documents developed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, specifically for a new Army Reserve training and maintenance centers. Reviewed the vehicle maintenance building portion of the overall design/build request for proposals package.

Marine Corps Reserve Center Repair Center & Wash Rack, Bakersfield, California: Responsible for the design of the vehicle maintenance facility wash rack and loading ramp.  Provided facility functional design and equipment selection and layout. 20 vehicles – 4,800 square feet – $1,300,000

National Guard Maintenance Facility, Grand Junction, Colorado: Responsible for the design of a 19,000-square-foot National Guard maintenance facility.  Project included four oversized bays to maintain guard vehicles, a parts room, storage areas, and operational offices.  Site included development of a yard.  This project had a tight program and budget, accelerated schedule, and a LEED certification process. 750 vehicles – 19,000 square feet – $5,000,000

Air National Guard, Greeley, Colorado: Conceptual design and equipment selection and layout for the new Mobile Ground Station Complex Maintenance Facility.  40 vehicles – 20,000 square feet – $2,800,000 (est.)

Army Corps of Engineers Maintenance/Storage Facility Value Engineering, Louisville, Kentucky: Performed a value engineering study on renovations to four buildings used for vehicle maintenance and storage for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Washington Army National Guard Value Analysis, Tacoma, Washington: The Washington Air National Guard is combining several smaller and outdated maintenance facilities to construct a new combined support maintenance shop.  The facility will be used to maintain the Guard’s fleet of vehicles ranging from humvee’s to HEMTT’s.  Maintenance Design Group provided review and value analysis of the maintenance equipment planned for the facility.

Railyard Upgrade and Expansion, Fort Carson, Colorado: Designed a light maintenance facility for two heavy rail engines.  Included a jib crane, waste oil storage, compressor room, and communication room.  Facility included a flat bay and a pit. 2 vehicles – 7,729 square feet – $2,000,000 (est.)
