Idaho State University Eames ATEIC Renovations
Idaho State University acquired a large former medical manufacturing facility near the campus and has used a portion of the facility for research programs. The focus of the building use has changed and with public funding from the state of Idaho and generous donations from supporters the building is now housing the Technical College at ISU. The building is being renovated to accommodate technical programs including on-site power generation, diesel, automotive technology, automotive collision, welding, robotics, unmanned aircraft systems, land survey, and geomatics. This new technology college will include shared student study and social areas, high-tech classroom, and state of the art technical lab/shop areas.
As part of the design team, HDR | MDG is conducting space needs programming, developing a master plan and conceptual designs, as well as assisting with equipment coordination for the new facility. HDR | MDG will be involved through Construction Administration.
